Our History
Our parents moved to Loveland in 1975 and our family has small-business roots in Loveland that go back to the 1950s. This community is our home and every member of this community is a member of our family.
We started Fly By Fun to build a community that celebrates the joy in all special occasions. We would love to see all those celebrations start with a joyful surprise at home.
We are dedicated to bringing joy and happiness to our family, friends, neighbors, and community through our yard card displays. It is our goal that you experience that commitment in every experience you have with Fly By Fun.

Our Team
The Sisters Behind Fly By Fun
Fly By Fun is owned and operated by the Bird sisters, Nicole Bird-Yowell and Michelle Bird. We are both Colorado natives, born and raised in the northern front range of Colorado. We attended Loveland-area schools (Immanuel Lutheran, Bill Reed, and Thompson Valley) and reside in Loveland still today.

Our family loves sports, a passion inherited from our parents! We were competitive swimmers growing up, both of us competing at the collegiate level (Nicole at the University of North Dakota and Michele at Texas A&M University). Our favorite pastime is cheering on Colorado's teams... Go Avs! Go Broncos! Go Rams! Go Buffs (Papa Bird is a proud Buff alumni)!
Fun Fact: We have a brother, Matt. He helps with Fly By Fun too! All three of us have been inducted into the Thompson Valley Athletic Hall of Fame (Nicole & Matt as members of State Champion swim teams and Michelle as an individual athlete).
